Are you interested in applying your top-level analytical skills to help thousands of kids to excel in their educational career through fun and effective learning? Do you want to push the boundaries of EdTech? Become part of the data science team at Squla/WRTS!
Squla and WRTS are platforms that offer a fun learning experience to primary school children (Squla) and an efficient method to practice foreign language vocabulary to high school children (WRTS). Both companies are co-headquartered and are growing fast.
We are looking for someone who gets excited by crunching data in a quest to uncover new facts, patterns, and stories. You are eager and able to communicate your findings to your colleagues - both verbally and visually - in simple terms, and help others to identify relevant actions based on your findings. While eager to deliver results fast, you don't compromise on the rigor and quality of your analysis. Two of your top traits are curiosity and perseverance.
You have also had previous exposure to e-commerce and/or web analytics. You are familiar with concepts such as customer journeys, conversion funnels/rates, online marketing channels, and A/B testing.
You will be part of the data science team. In that capacity, you will work with data of hundreds of thousands of users, who together log approximately 3 million answers per day on our platforms. Your responsibilities include extracting, manipulating, and visualizing data, as well as conducting statistical analyses to evaluate A/B tests and identify (causal) relationships that might appear in the data. You will also work closely with our growth and brand marketing teams, assisting them with designing, conducting and evaluating (online) experiments, as well as with developing and maintaining dashboards for reporting and monitoring. The insights you derive will have a direct impact on business and product decisions.
You will execute these tasks as part of our Amsterdam-based data science team, reporting to the head of data science.
