Futurewhiz, The makers of Squla, StudyGo & Studira, is looking for a Unity developer to join their development team working on the Squla mobile application.


For the past 10yrs+, Futurewhiz has been the market leader in Digital Education and it doesn’t stop there. Our platforms, Squla, StudyGo, Scoyo and Studira are growing and evolving, as we continuously strive to achieve our mission of empowering young people in education. We aim to provide digital, personalised education and learning, in order to positively enhance children's learning experiences, and improve their overall confidence.


You will get the opportunity to work within an international team of skilled engineers. Every aspect of the platform is developed by our team, which makes Squla unique. You get to use your expertise to make a real impact on the product. Besides our own discipline, we give further love to the platform by having a critical eye and suggesting improvements or new features. Perhaps your idea can be our next big project!

Our development team consists of 3 Unity developers who work together with Designers, Web and Back-end developers, Content Specialists and Business Owners to build and make our product better each day. We implement agile processes, including Scrum, continuous integration and a focus on data driven optimisation.


As a Unity Developer your main day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Building features that contribute to growing the Squla brand, its fun factor and ultimate effectiveness as a learning tool;

  • Actively participating in Scrum related activities (planning ,daily standups, retro and demo);

  • Testing your features and being fully responsible for them when they go live;

  • Troubleshooting live issues;

  • Improving technical state of the platform and development experience;

  • Working with Unity canvas on UI related tasks.


Who are you?

You have:

  • Experience with Unity;

  • Experience with C#;

  • Experience developing mobile applications;

  • In depth experience with Unity’s UI;

  • A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals;

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development;

  • Experience with structured development processes, incl. build and test automation and version control;

  • A keen interest in providing a great experience for users;

We also find the following to be an advantage:

  • Experience in API integrations;

  • You know your way around Figma;

  • You worked with a design system;

  • You dealt with legacy systems;

  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
